BlipSnips® makes video social. This Boulder, CO-based startup and 2010 TechStars graduate provides free consumer products designed to make video sharing simple and fun across a user’s social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

The products offer the following capabilities:

• Shoot, trim* and upload video. The app allows you too shoot, trim* and upload video within a smooth and intuitive interface. There is no need to take the video with one app, edit it with another, then upload with yet another one. It’s all accomplished in one app with a minimal amount of button presses.

• Tag friends and make comments. Tag Facebook and Twitter friends or make comments at specific moments. Fast forward and rewind are in the past; a single click will take you to the best moments of the video.

• Pin your location. Pin your location on the map using coordinates, locations in your immediate area, or using a custom name to let your friends know where all the fun went down.

• Share your moments via Facebook, Twitter, or email. Share your videos with your social network with a single press. No need to copy, paste or open separate apps to get the word out.

• Follow and be Followed. You can follow your friends or other interesting individuals and they can follow you, allowing for easy access to the content you want to see.

• Robust Privacy controls. Mark individual videos as private or turn on “Followers Only” to restrict access – giving you ultimate control of who can and cannot view and interact with your video library.

• Public and custom video feeds. Video lists display an All, Trending, and Friends feed with the option of following hashtags* when defined within the video. This type of versatility allows you to keep track of the things you care about, when you want to see them.
