Description: The Whoot is a crowd-sourced information feed that bridges the gap between your scattered social circle and plans for the night. The Whoot provides its users with the answer to the question “What is everyone doing tonight?” On The Whoot users create posts which detail what they are doing (or what they would like to do) that night. Each post fits into one of four categories; Working, Staying in, Relaxing Out or Partying. Throughout the day users are able to consult a large feed containing the posts of the friends that they follow. The Whoot allows users to "Loop In" with friends, essentially indicating to those friends that the user desires to be kept "In-the Loop" in regards to what that friend ends up doing later on that night. The Whoot has mobile applications for the iPhone and Android platforms and is also available online. The Whoot was founded by Ryan Coyne, Marc MacLeod and William Quartner in January of 2012 (launched publicly in February 2012).
